Narrowing the gap between the mind and body

Sessions can be delivered in-person or virtually.

 

Subconscious Imprinting Technique (SIT), is most easily described as identifying our limiting beliefs and behaviours that are negatively affecting our lives. SIT replaces these beliefs with positive, truer to us beliefs and behaviours, so we can reach our goals.

Have you ever experienced being a few weeks into your fitness endeavour, feeling good, making progress, and then find yourself slipping back into patterns, sabotaging your success? Yeah, me too.

Ever find yourself catching more common colds around stressful events of the year? I feel ya. 

Have you ever had an annoying ache or pain in your back and hip that is made better through physiotherapy, chiropractic and massage.. and still shows up in seemingly random times? Ohh yeah. That's me too.

Broken patterns of self-sabotage, decreased back aches, feeling less triggered in the world, all created by a release of negative emotions harboured in the body.

 

I was able to diminish if not erase my own physical, emotional aches and stresses by drawing awareness into past events I have held onto. I stopped being defined by my self-sabotage, my aches and felt more ease—more aware.

 

Though I experienced my own change, I was still a skeptic haha. And as a student of SIT, I witnessed folks overcoming chronic physical alignments after 1-2 sessions. I saw them have huge realizations that further created positive changes. All done without touching the person. But by giving them a structured space to process old emotions and behaviours.

Sounds crazy ‘woo-woo’, right?

 

I feel you. I looked up the science of the stress response cycle and what happens when this goes unprocessed, for years.

DR. JOE DISPENZA:

“When you think from your past memories, you can only create past experiences. As all of the “knowns” in your life cause your brain to think and feel in familiar ways, thus creating knowable outcomes, you continually reaffirm your life as you know it. And since your brain is equal to your environment, then each morning, your senses plug you into the same reality and initiate the same stream of consciousness.”

What exactly is physically happening to our body when we're stressed?

Your body goes into a state when it experiences stress. It's called fight or flight. The heart and breathing rate increase, more glucose (sugar) is released into the body, blood is sent to our limbs (rather than our organs), the immune system goes into overdrive and then slows down, creating a rush of adrenaline and cortisol to provide energy to our muscles.

 

Short term, this is a great response to managing stress.
Long term, this can cause digestive and skin issues, poor memory and sleep, muscle tightness/aches among others.

 

​What happens when we are constantly stressed?

Eventually the body can not keep up with the chronic stress, compromising our immune system. We may start catching frequent colds, flus and other ailments.

 

Emotions that are unexpressed can trip the stress response in the same way. So unless we manage our emotions, we maintain a high stress state, and therefore the symptoms won't go away.

 

Discomfort in the mind, may begin to show up as very real, physical pain in the body.

 

The body becomes addicted to this state, recreating the sensations in order to experience adrenaline spikes. This is when experiences are perpetuated and self-sabotage occurs in order for this cycle to continue.

 

With SIT we use muscle testing to find where the stress response started, and then we use specific statements that are shown to put your body back into a state of relaxation.

How does SIT work?

 

You and I sit down together for 1-hour to discuss your reason for coming in and what your goal is. With you always in control of your session, myself as a guide, we will access root memories, emotions or experiences within your body through muscle testing and chatting.

 

Once discovered, I will use signature release statements taught by The Empowered Healers Academy to change the way your body perceives and receives information. Meaning, we take the limiting beliefs and patterns and replace them with truer, more positive statements that will allow you to create a new outcome that aligns with the life, wellness and actions you desire.
